We caught our limit of over 20” fish within the first hour. So then we started concentrating on trying to find smaller fish and we still caught and released between 10-15 over 20” fish. Russell and the GGS Team were amazing. We were running a little behind and they were on top of it and ready to go when we pulled up. We got to see the sunrise not because we were prepared, but because Russell and team were. He got us out on the water to see it. Just gorgeous.
Throughout the trip our guide, Russell, kept the bait fresh on our lines and the boat moving and a grooving to make sure we found the striper that morning. Our guide was efficient, polite, respectful, knowledgeable, helpful and chill. We 3 ladies caught over 20 stripers along with several various other kinds of fish. My friend caught the biggest and most and she had never been fishing before.

We had a blast with Zach. Took us out and put us on some pretty good fish. We didn’t start out on a fast pace. The bite was a bit slow. But he stuck with it and by the time our 4 hour morning trip was complete we were 5 striper shy of boat limit (3 people 30 fish) plus we had 15 channel cats as well. Came home with 31 gallon bags of fillets and 1 whole fish.

Plus my wife being Asian we also had plenty of fish heads for her homemade Miso Soup broth. Guaranteed Guide Service has a great setup. 6 good size boats set up to catch fish. I asked about company functions and Zach said they have had access to as many as 28 boats at one time. Nice dock to fish out of as well.
