The spring Striper season is really starting to heat up!
The Striper fishing is really starting to come alive with water temps up to 68-70 degrees. Live bait on ledges and flats 25-40ft of water on anchor and drifting is catching good fish, along with swim baits and top waters in 10-15ft of water early in the morning.
Large mouth and Smallmouth Bass are feeding early as the shad spawn continues on Rocky banks.
Top waters early switching to hard baits such as crank baits as well as soft plastics later in the morning.
The Crappie bite is really getting going in shallow water 10-15ft,
And under boat docks. Jigs and minnows are both producing fish.
Blues and Channels are still moving into shallower water in creeks and coves.
Cut bait is producing good blues, and channels are biting on cut bait and punch bait.

We had an amazing time on our fishing trip! As a group of six adults, we were looking for a fun and relaxing day out on the water, and this trip delivered beyond our expectations.
