Spring striper fishing is really starting to take off!
The fishing has continued to improve on Lake Texoma and should only continue to improve as we enter into a more stable May spring weather pattern. The striper fishing has been good on flats and ledges 25-40ft of water. Live bait, slabs, and swim baits have all been producing fish.
With last years flood providing great conditions for spawn we are seeing a lot of fish in the lake, with that comes a lot of smaller fish so don’t be afraid to move school to school to find the better quality.
Crappie have settled into their spring pattern.
Look to find crappie in 10-20ft of water on structure such as brush piles and stumps, as well as around boat docks. Both live minnows and jigs have been producing crappie, some days one better than the other.
Blues and channels have been steady up shallow on flats 15-25ft of water as well as around the mouth of creeks and coves.
We have even been seeing some flat heads around areas with stumps in 10-20ft of water. Cut shad and punch bait has been the bait of choice to catch the cats.
Large mouth and smallmouth are getting more and more active as the water warms up.
Rocky banks early have been producing fish on top water and cranks baits, moving a little deeper as the morning progresses switching to soft plastics and crank baits.

This Trip Delivered Beyond Our Expectations.
We had an amazing time on our fishing trip! As a group of six adults, we were looking for a fun and relaxing day out on the water, and this trip delivered beyond our expectations.
Jacob was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to assist with tips and advice.
We were thrilled to catch our limit of fish, and everyone had the opportunity to reel in a great catch! The boat was well-maintained and spacious (with seating) making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all of us.
This was one of the best outings we’ve had together, and we can’t wait to do it again. Highly recommend this fishing trip for anyone looking for a memorable adventure! – Talton Taylor, Google Review
