The striper fishing is great as levels rise and the mudline pushes across the lake.
Live bait and swimbaits are working, birds are active on shallow points and rocky banks early. Fish are on flats and ledges in 25-35 fow and along the mud line.
Bass fishing look at the backs of coves and pockets as well as behind docks in marinas on the banks.
Smallmouth are stacked on rocky points in 6-12 fow. Largemouth will move up in to flooded brush and the backs of creeks.
Catfishing look at flooded grass and shorelines.
Prepared baits and shad on corks in 2-5 fow and down the rocks for channels. The rivers are rushing in with a lot of debris. Keep a watchful eye if you’re on the ends of the lake.
Crappie fishing look shallow in the creeks and flooded coves.
Fish are also suspended on docks under floats and in structure 15-20 fow on jigs and minnows.
