OCTOBER 2025 FISHING REPORTS

Striped bass fishing is good on lures and will be getting better on live bait.
Big fish are up shallow early and late off sand points and on flats in 2-5 fow using big pencil poppers. Smaller fish are schooling on the surface across river channels and ledges during the day as well. Small swim baits or slabs are catching them.
Catfishing is good and the cooler weather will start to produce big blues more consistently.
Numbers are still on baited holes on points and in the backs of ditches in 15-25 fow using our favorite punch bait. Drift deep flats 40-55 fow off the river channels with whole shad for big fish.
Largemouth/smallmouth bass fishing look off the banks in 5-12 fow with a good hard drop off.
Top waters early and reaction baits through the day. Docks and structure for numbers and bigger fish will be roaming the deeper ledges.
Crappie fishing is about to get good with water temps dropping and shad getting larger in the lake.
Fish brush and structure in 14-20 fow using electronics to locate active fish. Spinner jigs and paddle tail jigs will get a reaction from bigger fish near docks as well.
This Trip Delivered Beyond Our Expectations.
We had an amazing time on our fishing trip! As a group of six adults, we were looking for a fun and relaxing day out on the water, and this trip delivered beyond our expectations.
Jacob was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to assist with tips and advice.
We were thrilled to catch our limit of fish, and everyone had the opportunity to reel in a great catch! The boat was well-maintained and spacious (with seating) making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all of us.
This was one of the best outings we’ve had together, and we can’t wait to do it again. Highly recommend this fishing trip for anyone looking for a memorable adventure! – Talton Taylor, Google Review
