Striper fishing is good and getting better with the warmer temps.
We are mid spawn patterns with fish scattered and in small groups. Drifting 8-12 fow with live bait and anchoring on ledges in 20-40 fow are producing fish. Swimbaits on structure in 12-25 fow off main lake humps and points as well. Look for fish glued to the bottom on your electronics. Watch for the shad spawn to kick off and fish to hit Topwaters early in the morning off the rocky banks!
Catfish are on the move near creeks and coves off the main lake.
Look for blues to move up shallower and channels to start hitting the rocks. Whole shad anchored up in ditches and coves in 8-20 fow. We will start baiting holes and getting things ready for the channel catfish punch bait bite in the coming weeks.
Bass are firing up off main lake points and on structure in 5-15 fow.
Hard baits and top waters early morning as the shad spawn starts to kick off. Dingy water will be near the ends of the lakes and in the coves, the main lake remains clear and a little cooler.
