We’ve been beating the heat with some early morning striper action!
With the summer pattern continuing to be in full swing the striper have been moving in tight schools on flats 20-40ft of water and in open water 50-60ft of water. Staying with and in front of these schools jigging slabs and dropping live bait have both been effective at putting fish in the coolers.
Blue cats have been consistent on flats and ledges 25-40ft of water on cut shad.
Channel cats are still holding steady on flats in 18-25ft of water, with punch bait being the go to for catching numbers and quality.
Crappie continue to hold on structure in 15-20ft of water.
As well as in the shade of boat docks with both live minnows and jigs producing bites.

We had an amazing time on our fishing trip! As a group of six adults, we were looking for a fun and relaxing day out on the water, and this trip delivered beyond our expectations.

We were thrilled to catch our limit of fish, and everyone had the opportunity to reel in a great catch! The boat was well-maintained and spacious (with seating) making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all of us.
