Deep into Summer Striper fishing artificials have been producing the most fish the last couple of weeks.
Slabs, top waters and swim baits have all three been producing good numbers. We are looking for schooling surfacing fish, or using electronics to find larger schools moving fast in deeper water throughout the day to get on the bite.
Channels cats have been showing up in good numbers,
On baited holes in 20-30ft of water using your favorite flavor of punch bait to catch them.
Blue cats are holding steady in a little deeper water,
30-45ft on ledges of flats with cut shad producing bites.
Crappie are trying to beat the heat staying on structure in 25-30ft of water,
As well as in shaded waters like under and around boat docks. Minnows and jigs have both been producing bites day to day.

We had an amazing time on our fishing trip! As a group of six adults, we were looking for a fun and relaxing day out on the water, and this trip delivered beyond our expectations.
