Striper fishing has been great on Texoma!
With slight rises from recent rains and the cooler temperatures bringing water temps down into the mid 70s the lake is in good shape. Top waters early in the morning and late in the evenings up shallow down sandy banks have been producing good fish. Live bait on flats 20-30ft of water, and on main lake ledges 30-40 ft has been producing a lot of fish throughout the day.
Crappie are holding near structure and on brush 15-20ft of water, live minnows or jigs are both catching them well.
Mo glo and monkeys milk have still been two colors getting bit on jigs.
Catfishing has been good and the big blues have started showing up.
Drifting cut baits like big gizzards has been producing both numbers and some good size for blues. Channel cats are still hanging in there around 15-20ft of water in the back of flats with punch bait producing the bites.

We had an amazing time on our fishing trip! As a group of six adults, we were looking for a fun and relaxing day out on the water, and this trip delivered beyond our expectations.
